How to choose
By age. Stage 1 is for babies from birth to 6 months. Stage 2 is the follow-on formula from 6 to 12 months, when babies start solid foods. Stage 3 is for toddlers from 12 months.
Regular or Extra Care? Materna Mehadrin is the classic formula most families start with. Materna Extra Care is Materna's gentler line, chosen by many parents for babies with sensitive tummies. Both come in all three stages.
Non-Dairy. If your family needs a formula without milk, Materna Non-Dairy is the parve option.
Always ask your pediatrician before starting or switching formula, and follow the preparation instructions on the can.

When should I switch from Stage 1 to Stage 2?
Stage 2 is made for babies after 6 months. Many parents switch around then, but ask your pediatrician what is right for your baby.
Is Materna kosher for Pesach?
